1. The quest begins in Dion Castle Town with Magister Mirien. He talks to him in church. He will give you the quest item Mirien's Mark (or Emblem or Insignia, etc).
He now speaks in the same church with High Priest Silvyan. He will give you the High Priest's Mark.
2. Go now to the magic shop, in the center of the city, and talk to Maria, after which you will have to speak with Guard General Lucas at the South entrance of the city to get the Lucas' Mark quest item. .
3. Talk to Maria again and you will receive the quest item Maria's Letter.
4. Now go to Floran Village and, at the East entrance, talk to Astrologer Crete. He will give you the Creta's Letter quest item and send you to talk to Maria again.
5. Maria will give you the Lucilla's Handbag, which you must take to Crete. Crete will give you the Creta's Picture quest item (with an icon that looks like a Scroll of Enchant Weapon).
Take it to Maria in Dion (again ...). He will give you Creta's Letter (similar to a Resurrection Scroll), which you will have to take to Guard General Lucas.
6. Lucas will send you to an area of Oren Castle Town, south of the city, between Iris Lake and Hunters Village, where you must kill Leto Lizardman Warrior to get 5 Brown Scroll Piece quest items, which you must take to Maria.
PART 2
1. Maria to give a Crystal of Purity. She go to the church and talk to High Priest Sylvain to give you the Sylvain's Mark. Now go talk to Magister Mirien to get the quest item Mirien's Mask.
2. Go now to Giran, to the Mage's Guild, and speak to Grand Magister Jurek. It will give you the Grand Magister's Mark and Jurek's List quest items. Now you must kill the following monsters to get everything Jurek asks of you:
- Monster Eye Destroyer (5 Skin), you can find them in the Northern part of the Wasteland, and you can also find them in the southern exit of Giran. (Note: Do not waste adena uselessly, you have them in Giran. Contribution of Calaleen)
- Breka Orc Shaman (5 Sorcerer's Necklaces), in the North of Giran.
- Shackle (2 Head Skins), you can find them at the entrance to Dragon Valley.
3. Once you have all the ingredients, talk to Grand Magister Jurek again, he will give you the quest item Jurek's Voucher. Now go back to Dion to speak to Magister Mirien again. She will send you to Hunters Village to speak to Wiseman Cronos.
PART 3
(Note: to continue from this point you must have a minimum level 36)
1. Once you talk to Wiseman Cronos, you will get the quest item Sage's Mark, and you will have to go back to Giran's Mage's Guild to talk to Dieter, who will give you the quest item Dieter's Key. Go back to Floran now, talk to Astrologer Crete, he will give you the Dieter's Diary and the Dieter's Letter, with which you will have to return to Giran to give them to Dieter.
2. Now go to Hunters Village and talk to Trader Edrok in the weapons shop. It will give you the Raout's Letter Envelope quest item. Take it to Warehouse Keeper Rault in Gludin.
3. Rault now sends you to Gludin Harbor to talk to his brother Drunken Treaf (or Drunkard Triff). You will get the quest items Treaf's Ring and Scripture ch. 1 (Scripture can also be called Sacred Book of Knowledge). Now go to Giran and talk to Warehouse Keeper Valkon. It will give you the Balkon's Written Request quest item. Go to Dion to talk to Maria again, who will give you the Crystal of Purity. Take it to Valkon to get the Scripture ch. 2.
4. Go now to the northern part of Dragon Velley (between Dragon Valley and the river you cross to go to Oren) and kill Grandis to get the Scripture ch. 3 (you will likely have to kill quite a few before getting it).
Part 4
1. Go now to Dion to talk to Blacksmith Poitan, he will give you the Poitan's Ledger. Now go to the Wasteland to speak with Wiseman Casian. You can find it southwest of the southern entrance to the Ant Nest (south of the A in the Wasteland on the game map).
You will get the quest item Wiseman Casian's Ingredient List, after which you will have to get the following ingredients:
- 10 Ghoul's Skin, which you will get by killing Ghoul in Execution Ground.
- 12 Medusa's Blood, from the Medusa, that you can find in the north of the road from Giran to Giran Castle.
- 5 Fettered Soul's (Bodily) Fluid, killing Fettered Soul in Death Pass.
- 5 Enchanted Gargoyle's Claws, from the Enchanted Gargoyle. Look for them in the hills of Ivory Tower.
2. Once you have all the ingredients, go talk to Wiseman Casian again. Go back to Giran's Mage's Guild to talk to Dieter and then go to Hunter's Village to talk to Wiseman Cronos, who will give you your quest item. Bring it to Magister Mirien in Dion's Church and he will give you the final quest item, 45000 xp and 5500 SP.
