Hello good, here is a guide for new players who start Lineage 2. As you already know it is an MMORPG in which you must choose the character you want and through missions or by killing “monsters” you level up and improve your equipment . .
As soon as you create an account, you enter and you must create your new character. You have several classes to choose from, each class has its peculiarities, its strengths and its weaknesses. There is NO invincible race, if you know how to play well you can be very difficult to kill but you will never be invincible, let this be clear. The first thing you should know is the type of character you want to be, archer, dagero, magician, etc. When you know it, the best thing is that you investigate a little the characteristics that each race has, and from that you already choose the one you like the most. Choosing a man or a woman has no benefit, it just changes the appearance.
As advice I will tell you that the characters that are of the "fighter" type are more difficult to handle. The best thing is that you start with a magician that are simpler and easier. The most used wizard par excellence is the wizard of the dark elves, the Storm Screamer. But you can choose the one you like the most of course.
Once we enter the game with our new character we will be in a room surrounded by small low-level bugs. You can kill them and if you practice a bit. We will start at level 1, of course, and as you kill, you will go up. The best way to climb faster is to kill bugs of the same level or close, that is, if you are level 20 kill bugs of a level or similar, if you kill bugs of a lower level you will hardly gain experience and if you kill bugs of a higher level (from 10 levels) will not increase experience and apart from that you will not be able to kill them by yourself. Although as I said at the beginning this is not the only way to level up, you will also gain experience by completing missions. These missions also vary according to your level, each mission has its own level and you will not be able to do it if you do not meet that level. Most of the missions will give you experience and some money, but the truth is that it is not worth it, you get very little money and little experience. Although there are certain missions that are worth it for the objects they give you, from enchantments for your weapon or armor to recipes to be able to create new objects. Information about these missions is easy to find on the Internet.
While you are leveling up, you should also equip yourself with better objects, otherwise it is useless to level up. Until the update of “High Five” we had 8 levels of level:
Level 1 to 20 = No grade
Level 20 to 40 = Grade D
Level 40 to 52 = Grade C
Level 52 to 61 = Grade B
Level 61 to 76 = Grade A
Level 76 to 80 = Grade S
Level 80 to 84 = Grade S80
Level 84 = Grade S84
Upon reaching the level listed above, you can equip items of that same grade. If you equip objects of a higher degree you will not notice their effects and they will even slow you down, equipping objects of a lower degree has no consequences. The higher the grade of the equipment, the more expensive it will be or the more difficult it will be to obtain. Some can even only be obtained by killing a class of critters, the Raid Boss. These critters are extremely tough and it is impossible to kill one or two people alone. This requires several groups of players (Partys) working together to kill them. When these critters die they have a chance to drop rare items.
To finish saying that the game has no end, that is, it is not reaching a point and it ends, no. The fun of this game is to play with friends and fight against other players and see who is better, that's why there are clans and alliances. Clans and alliances usually have other clans and alliances at war and fight each other.
All the best :)
